The Bergischer Weg is Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2024!

From historic vineyards to basalt quarries, this stage has many surprises in store.

The stage is also very varied: Paths in secluded valleys and forests alternate with passages through small villages and on panoramic mountain trails. Hikers always have the Siebengebirge and its highest peak, the Großer Ölberg, in view.

If you hike the Bergischer Weg and take photos at certain points along the way, you can collect points and receive a hiking pin. You can find more information here.

We would like to thank Frank Kortum, Gabriele Polster-Schilling and Walter Schilling, who look after the trail as volunteer trail patrons.
