Hikers are reminded of Norwegian Fjords on the route along the many arms and inlets of the Neye valley reservoir. The drinking water reservoir, where in autumn the deciduous forest shines with the glowing colours of an “Indian summer”, is part of an entire network of valley reservoirs. The inflows and outflows of this water quintet accompany the Panorama Trail to the stage destination in the oldest town in the Bergisches Land: the Hanseatic town of Wipperfürth.
