Farmers, animals and agriculture

On this 12.6 kilometre loop trail around Lohmar, you will learn a lot about life on a farm. The information boards teach adults and primary school children alike a lot about livestock, such as the indigenous black or red and white cows, typical field crops and the work of a farmer in times gone by. Today, more and more farmers have added new strings to their bow with smart ideas like farm shops, selling Christmas trees and biomass power plants.
