Bergischer Weg: Stage 4

High above the Wupper, the destination for this stage impresses with the castle where the Count of Burg resided for centuries. The route there initially seems like a journey around the world: in the former testing area for resilient tree species at Wuppertal-Cronenberg, trees from all around the world are grown. Under Germany’s highest railway bridge, you carry on to Brückenpark Müngsten and Unterburg, where you can float up the final ascent to Schloss Burg in a chairlift.
