Bergisch Panorama Trail: Stage 7

The area around the source of the Wupper is not just blessed by rain but also wind, through which the Bergische Panoramasteig (Bergisch Panorama Trail) winds its way past wind farms and Unnenberg down to the Genkeltalsperre reservoir. The Aggertalsperre reservoir with its own lido and the dreamy little village of Lieberhausen with its “bunte Kerke” (colourful church) provide further attractive stations along the way via Niederrengse to Bergneustadt. The stage destination is also diverse and awaits with a lively commercial centre and an historical, winding old town including a Heimatmuseum (local museum).
