Extensive meadows and fields on the open hillside of the upper Waldbrölbachtal valley accompany hikers along the much of the stage. The landscape along the trail in Homburger Ländchen surprises with its ever-changing facets. A fantastic panorama is offered by the viewing tower on the "Lindchen” shortly before the stage destination: from the platform, you can not only see the Siebengebirge and the Eifel heights on the horizon, but also much of the Bergische Panoramasteig (Bergisch Panorama Trail).
