The Bergischer Weg is Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2024!

Stage 3 leads from Wülfrath to Solingen-Gräfrath.

Gently rolling horizons and beautiful paths along the Düssel river characterize this stage, on which there are always traces of lime mining to discover. Some of the older quarries have long since been reclaimed by nature, which offers different attractions every season. The stage to tranquil Gräfrath with its picturesque alleyways and slate houses is never boring.

Walking time: approx. 7 hours

If you hike the Bergischer Weg and take photos at certain places along the way, you can collect points and receive a hiking pin. You can find more information here.

We would like to thank Michael Maul, who looks after the trail as a volunteer trail patron.
