The tenth stage runs for the most part on wide, sometimes narrow forest paths and always follows the Wahnbach stream. From the outskirts of Much, the route initially follows a widening path through the forest along the stream and then over a short hill to Leverath, where you reach the Herrenteich pond directly alongside a stream branching off from the Wahnbach. After the village of Kreuzkapelle, the Bergischer Weg again leads along mainly wide forest paths with gentle ups and downs to the Hof Huppenhardt animal welfare farm and past Oberwennerscheid to Niederwennerscheid, where the hiker is greeted by a herd of alpacas. Again on first narrow, then wide forest paths, you approach the Wahnbach stream once more before following a narrow path up to the outskirts of Neunkirchen.
