stage 8: Rösrath-Forsbach - Overath (19.6 km, 6-7 hours)
From Rösrath-Forsbach, the trail leads through the Hoffnungsthal valley along the banks of the Sülz to Lüderich, where the last mine in the Bensberg ore mining district ceased operations in 1978.
